What is a paywall?
Paywall is a digital barrier which allows you to provide your content to paid subscribers only. To highlight your profile on the public feed and encourage users to subscribe, you can add free content. Please note, that choosing to have your profile behind a paywall could result in your content NOT being featured in our promotions.
How can I enable this on my profile?
You are in control of the paywall function, you can turn it on and off by clicking on Dashboard on the left hand side, and clicking on edit profile. Clicking on the button as seen on the picture below will turn paywall on. Test your profile and see what works best for you, keep in mind you will not lose subscribers by disabling paywall. Paywall and Subscriptions are different processes.
Do I have to have a paywall?
It's your profile, do with it what you please! We do suggest testing which settings work best for you and your fans so you can optimise your profile on the platform. It is 100% your choice.
Can I have part of my content in the paywall?
Yes, you can choose to keep some content on the public feed. You will also still have the ability on your profile to have subscriber only and shop content without enabling the paywall to limit access and continue to monetize your content.
